Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that protect users, infrastructure, and the wider ecosystem when using Cocoding.

Use responsibly

Use Cocoding only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects people, systems, data, and intellectual property. You are responsible for prompts, connected resources, generated applications, deployments, and actions performed through your account.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Cocoding to:

  • Create, facilitate, or distribute malware, destructive payloads, credential theft, phishing, spam, or unauthorized surveillance.
  • Probe, scan, exploit, or access systems, accounts, networks, or data without clear authorization, including attempts to bypass rate limits, isolation, authentication, metering, or safety controls.
  • Abuse people or facilitate violence, exploitation, unlawful discrimination, trafficking, or sexual content involving minors.
  • Infringe privacy, confidentiality, publicity, copyright, trademark, open-source license, or other rights.
  • Misrepresent generated content as independently verified, impersonate another person or organization, or use deceptive content to cause material harm.
  • Consume resources in a way that intentionally degrades Cocoding or another service, including denial-of-service activity, unauthorized cryptomining, or automated account abuse.
  • Use the service or output where failure could directly create a risk of death, serious injury, or major physical damage without qualified human review and controls appropriate to that use.
  • Help another person do anything prohibited by this policy.

Security research

Good-faith research must stay within systems you own or have explicit permission to test. Do not access customer data, disrupt availability, retain unnecessary personal information, or publish an unremediated vulnerability. Report Cocoding vulnerabilities privately to security@cocoding.ai.

Enforcement

Cocoding may investigate suspected abuse and limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service. Context, severity, recurrence, and good-faith remediation are considered where appropriate. Cocoding may preserve or disclose information when required by law or needed to address credible threats.
